Parasites are one of the leading health issues that our pets face. Depending on the region that you live in, the risk of contracting certain parasites may be much greater than in other parts of the country. Some pet owners worry about the dangers of parasite preventatives, the cost associated with these products and/or how frequently they should use them on their pets.

In this podcast episode, I’m speaking with Dr. Craig Prior, a certified veterinarian who sits on the board of the Companion Animal Parasite Council. He’s sharing some very helpful information on the most common parasites found in companion animals and what we can do to prevent our pets from contracting them.
